Terms of Service
Effective July 27, 2026 · AgentHost is operated by GTMVP Inc. ("AgentHost", "we") · Contact: steve@stevekaplan.ai
1. What AgentHost is
AgentHost is a command-line tool and container image that deploy an AI-agent runtime to a cloud account you own and control. AgentHost operates no backend for your box: we do not host, store, process, or have access to your infrastructure, code, credentials, or agent activity. Your relationship for hosting is with your own cloud provider, under their terms and pricing.
2. The open-source CLI
The AgentHost CLI and container source are licensed under the MIT License (see the LICENSE file in the repository). Per that license, the software is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. These Terms add no restrictions to your MIT rights in the code.
3. Paid tiers
- What you're buying. Paid tiers (such as the guided monthly tier or the one-time Founders tier) cover setup assistance, configuration guidance, and support from us — not hosting, not model usage, and not a subscription to any AgentHost server.
- Your costs stay yours. Cloud infrastructure charges and AI-model usage are billed to you by your providers, and are your responsibility. A typical always-on box costs single-digit dollars per month in cloud fees, but your usage may vary and we don't control provider pricing.
- Billing is processed by Stripe. One-time purchases are charged once; recurring tiers renew until you cancel, and you can cancel any time with effect from the next billing period.
- Refunds. If something we sold you doesn't work as described, email steve@stevekaplan.ai and we'll make it right — fix it, credit it, or refund it. We'd rather lose a sale than keep an unhappy operator.
4. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the actions of the agents you run — the code they write, the messages they send, the money they spend, and the consequences of approvals you grant through the governance controls.
- You will comply with your cloud provider's and AI-model providers' terms while using AgentHost with their services.
- You will not use AgentHost to break the law, attack systems you don't own or lack authorization to test, or evade the safety controls of the model providers you use.
- Keep your own credentials safe. The design keeps them out of our hands — which also means only you can protect them.
5. Honest limits (no warranty, limited liability)
AgentHost is built by a small team and shipped honestly: governance features reduce risk, they do not eliminate it, and AI agents can behave unpredictably. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AgentHost and GTMVP Inc. are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including cloud bills, model charges, data loss, or the actions of agents you run — and our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
6. Trademarks and content
"AgentHost" and the AgentHost site content are ours; the MIT license covers the code, not the brand. Don't present yourself as us.
7. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms; the current version lives at this page with its effective date. If you buy a paid tier, the terms in force at purchase govern that purchase. Because the software runs in your account, "termination" is simple: stop using it, or run agenthost destroy — nothing of yours is held by us.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, and disputes belong to the state or federal courts of Broward County, Florida.
